Exchange Advisory Workgroup
Georgia formed a working group dedicated to assessing the feasibility of establishing a state run health benefit exchange. The Exchange Advisory Committee was led by the Governor’s Office. It was comprised of a diverse group of stakeholders that include small business, insurance providers and brokers, healthcare providers, and technical experts. The committee was supported by exchange technical staff that includes state agency staff, university researchers, and subject matter experts.
